- SAP Finance Functional Consultant
- 18-Month Contract 4 Days Onsite - South East UK
- Overview
We're looking for an experienced SAP Finance Functional Consultant to support SAP Finance processes, systems integration, and BAU support across a multi-site, international manufacturing environment.
This is a hands‑on role focused on SAP FI/CO, working closely with finance, IT, business users, developers, and third‑party support teams to improve processes, resolve issues, and deliver stable SAP solutions.
Responsibilities
- Support SAP Finance (FI/CO) processes and production support.
- Assist with SAP deployments and transition into BAU.
- Manage integrations between SAP and connected systems.
- Investigate and resolve system and process issues.
- Improve finance processes, reporting, controls, and data quality.
- Support intercompany processes, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
- Work with developers on solution design, testing, and delivery.
- Coordinate with business users, IT, and external support partners.
- Support integration and UAT testing.
- Create user documentation and deliver training where required.
- Drive process standardisation and continuous improvement.
- Provide occasional functional support across PP, QM, and IM.
- Required Experience
- 5+ years' SAP FI/CO experience.
- Strong SAP Finance configuration and support knowledge.
- Experience supporting SAP integrations (IDocs, XML or similar).
- Understanding of PP, QM and IM.
- Experience across SAP projects and BAU support.
- Manufacturing or supply chain environment preferred.
- Strong stakeholder management and problem-solving skills.
- Able to travel internationally (approx. 25%) and work onsite in Fareham four days per week.
