For a large client in the Industrial Automation sector, we are looking for an OT Networks Engineer who will be responsible for designing, delivering, and improving operational technology (OT) network infrastructure and control system solutions for mission-critical projects. The role involves supporting projects from design through integration, testing, and commissioning, while ensuring high standards of performance, reliability, and safety.
Working across multiple projects, you will take ownership of technical deliverables, contribute to system architecture decisions, and support continuous improvement of engineering standards and processes.
The Role
- Design and develop OT network infrastructure and server architectures
- Produce and maintain network diagrams, configurations, and technical documentation
- Deliver engineering tasks across multiple projects to scope, schedule, and quality
- Support system integration, FAT/SAT testing, and commissioning activities
- Troubleshoot and resolve network, server, and system integration issues
- Collaborate with IT teams, vendors, and project stakeholders for secure OT integration
- Contribute to technical decisions, risk management, and project delivery alignment
- Support continuous improvement, value engineering, and engineering standards
- Provide technical input for proposals and business development when required
Skills Required
- Education & Experience
- Degree in Electrical, Control Systems, Network Engineering, IT, or similar
- 5+ years’ experience in OT networking, industrial networks, or control systems
- Certifications such as CCNA/CCNP (or equivalent) preferred
- Experience with virtualization (e.g., VMware, Hyper‑V) and OT cybersecurity concepts
