We are seeking an experienced Lead Infrastructure Automation Engineer to lead a strategic infrastructure modernisation programme across EMEA. You will transform a largely manual environment into a scalable Infrastructure-as-Code (Ia C) platform, taking ownership from strategy and design through to delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Ia C and infrastructure automation across on-prem and future cloud environments.
- Build automated provisioning, configuration, patching, compliance and lifecycle processes.
- Develop self-service infrastructure workflows and automation frameworks from the ground up.
- Define infrastructure standards, governance and best practices.
- Provide technical leadership across Infrastructure, Operations and Engineering teams.
- Support modernisation involving Kubernetes, Open Shift and hybrid cloud
- Help establish and mentor a future infrastructure automation team.
Essential Experience
- Strong hands-on Terraform and Ansible experience.
- Enterprise-scale Ia C and greenfield automation experience.
- Strong Linux, VMware and enterprise infrastructure knowledge.
- Experience with Kubernetes / Open Shift
- Exposure to Azure or GCP and hybrid cloud environments.
- Git, CI/CD and Dev Ops experience.
- Proven ability to independently lead strategic infrastructure transformation projects.
