We’re seeking a hands-on Cloud Platform Engineer to build, automate, and operate secure, reliable cloud infrastructure and platform services. You’ll work with Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD pipelines, and container platforms to support production systems and improve reliability, security, and performance. You will need to work onsite 2 days per week in Leeds.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and manage cloud infrastructure using Terraform (IaC)
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines
- Support production and non-production environments
- Operate container platforms (Docker, Kubernetes, Cloud Run)
- Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting
- Manage configuration, secrets, and access controls
- Support incident response, troubleshooting, and remediation
- Apply security, patching, and reliability best practices
- Contribute to documentation and participate in on-call rotations
Skills & Experience
- 5–8+ years in DevOps / Platform / SRE roles
- Hands-on Terraform and cloud networking/IAM
- Experience with GitHub Actions, Cloud Build, Jenkins, or similar
- Experience with containers and observability tools
- Solid understanding of cloud security and reliability principles
- Comfortable working in Agile and distributed teams
