Key Responsibilities
- Configure and support Oracle Cloud Tax, including tax regimes, rules, rates, and tax box allocation.
- Create and document tax box allocation instructions, ensuring correct mapping for VAT reporting and compliance.
- Design and implement processes for supplier setup involving tax, withholding tax, and VAT requirements.
- Support the configuration of nominal-based VAT reclaiming, including rules for reclaim by nominal codes or tax accounts.
- Work with finance and procurement teams to ensure accurate tax handling across AP, AR, and purchasing flows.
- Produce functional specifications, configuration documentation, and test scripts.
- Support SIT/UAT cycles, troubleshoot issues, and assist with cutover activities.
- Provide knowledge transfer to internal teams.
Required Skills
- Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud Tax/EBTax configuration.
- Solid understanding of UK/EU VAT and indirect tax legislation.
- Experience with tax box allocations, supplier tax setups, withholding tax, and VAT reclaim processes.
- Strong working knowledge of Oracle Cloud Financials (AP, AR, GL, Procurement).
- Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills; able to work independently in a remote setting.
