Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced iScala Epicor Functional SME to support a major global IT carve-out project. The customer has recently acquired a division and will be separating and migrating IT systems worldwide. With multiple ERP platforms in play (20+ instances across 8β9 brands), iScala Epicor expertise is required to assess, plan, and guide the migration of several iScala instances.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess existing iScala Epicor instances (approx. 3) and identify any technical or functional complexities.
- Develop and document an exit and migration plan, including considerations for moving iScala to a new data centre.
- Provide input on timelines, effort, and potential risks (e.g., whether migration would take 2, 3, or more weeks).
- Advise on reporting tools integration and potential impacts during the carve-out.
- Act as a subject matter expert, answering functional and technical questions as they arise.
- Work closely with project leadership to ensure smooth transition and minimal disruption to business operations.
Key Skills & Experience
- Strong functional knowledge of iScala Epicor, with a solid understanding of related technical aspects.
- Proven experience in ERP migration, carve-out, or large-scale IT transformation projects.
- Ability to identify dependencies, risks, and key considerations in ERP transitions.
- Excellent documentation and planning skills (exit/migration strategies).
- Strong communication skills to work with both technical and business stakeholders.
