For a global Data Center customer, we are looking for an Automation Engineer with a focus on Commissioning to support their project in Cardiff, UK. You will need to be on site 4-5 days per week, this may change depending on project phase.

  • Support Commissioning of the DC site
  • Assist in troubleshooting PLC, SCADA, network, and other control system issues during incidents under the guidance of senior engineers
  • Support the coordination of milestones across MEP, IT, and Construction teams to help ensure adequate time for system pre-testing and commissioning
  • Contribute to the development and deployment of PLC and HMI applications for control system projects with supervision
  • Perform basic PLC and HMI application updates and testing in live or staging environments following established procedures
  • Support remediation activities and routine maintenance tasks related to the Building Automation System in collaboration with Site Operations

Over 3 years Industrial Automation experience with a focus on Commissioning. Exposure to mission critical environments, preferably a Data Center. Degree in Engineering, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
