We’re supporting a UK-based distribution client undergoing a major upgrade of their warehousing and inventory operations within D365 Finance & Operations. They’re looking for a hands-on Supply Chain Consultant to lead functional delivery across advanced warehousing, inventory management, and logistics modules.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in operational settings, understands the nuances of warehouse processes, and can bridge the gap between business users and technical teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead workshops with warehouse, logistics, and inventory teams to gather requirements and define process flows
- Configure and optimize Advanced Warehousing, Inventory Management, and Transportation modules
- Support barcode scanning, mobile device setup, and label printing integrations
- Collaborate with technical teams on data migration, integrations, and reporting
- Drive UAT planning, execution, and defect resolution
- Provide post-go-live support and training for warehouse operatives and supply chain leads
Ideal Profile:
- 5+ years in D365 F&O (or AX 2012) with deep expertise in supply chain and warehousing modules
- Experience with Advanced Warehousing, mobile device configuration, and label/reporting tools
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills across operations and IT
- Familiarity with UK distribution or manufacturing environments
