Contract Role: D365 F&O Functional Consultant – Finance & Procurement Stream

We’re supporting a global manufacturing client in the rollout of Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations across multiple European entities. They’re seeking a hands-on Functional Consultant to lead workshops, map business processes, and support configuration and testing across finance and procurement modules.
This is a delivery-focused role — ideal for someone who thrives in stakeholder-facing environments and can translate business needs into system functionality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead FIT-GAP workshops with finance and procurement teams across UK and EU entities
- Configure core modules: GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Procurement & Sourcing
- Support testing cycles (UAT, SIT), write test scripts, and manage defect resolution
- Collaborate with technical teams on integrations and reporting requirements
- Provide post-go-live support and training to end users
- Ensure compliance with local statutory requirements and internal controls
Ideal Profile:
- 5+ years in D365 F&O (or AX 2012) with strong functional knowledge of finance and procurement
- Experience working on multi-country rollouts and localisations
- Confident communicator with excellent stakeholder engagement skills
- Able to work independently and manage deliverables across multiple workstreams
- Experience in manufacturing or supply chain environments is a plus
