Job Description – CI/CD Infrastructure Engineer (Azure | DevOps | IaC | Kubernetes)

Role Overview

We are seeking a CI/CD Infrastructure Engineer with strong experience in Azure, DevOps automation, and Infrastructure‑as‑Code. You will design and operate enterprise‑grade CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and automation frameworks that ensure secure, reliable, and scalable delivery across multiple environments.

This role sits at the intersection of DevOps, cloud engineering, automation, and platform reliability.

Key Responsibilities

CI/CD Pipeline Engineering

  • Design and implement end‑to‑end CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.

  • Automate build, test, and deployment workflows across environments.

  • Manage pipeline reliability, security, and performance.

Azure Infrastructure Engineering

  • Design and manage Azure cloud infrastructure, including:

    • Virtual Machines, App Services, AKS

    • Networking (VNet, NSG, Load Balancers)

    • Storage and databases

  • Ensure infrastructure is scalable, secure, and highly available.

Infrastructure as Code (IaC)

  • Develop and maintain IaC using Terraform, ARM, or Bicep.

  • Ensure repeatable, version‑controlled infrastructure deployments.

  • Automate environment provisioning across Dev, QA, and Prod.

DevOps Automation & Integration

  • Integrate infrastructure with CI/CD pipelines for seamless deployments.

  • Implement automated release strategies and rollback mechanisms.

  • Improve deployment speed and reduce manual interventions.

Monitoring, Reliability & Performance

  • Implement monitoring using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights.

  • Troubleshoot performance issues and deployment failures.

  • Ensure high availability and disaster‑recovery readiness.

Security, Compliance & Governance

  • Implement DevSecOps practices within pipelines and infrastructure.

  • Manage identity and access using Azure AD and RBAC.

  • Ensure compliance with enterprise and cloud governance standards.

Collaboration & Enablement

  • Work closely with development, architecture, platform, operations, and SRE teams.

  • Enable teams with reusable CI/CD templates and infrastructure frameworks.

Required Skills & Experience

Experience

  • 5+ years in Azure DevOps, CI/CD, or Infrastructure Engineering.

  • Experience with enterprise‑scale deployments.

Core Technical Skills

  • Azure DevOps / GitHub Actions

  • CI/CD pipeline design & automation

  • Strong Azure cloud knowledge

Infrastructure & Cloud

  • Azure compute: VMs, AKS, App Services

  • Networking & security

  • Storage & databases

  • IaC: Terraform, ARM, Bicep

Scripting & Automation

  • PowerShell, Bash, Python

  • YAML pipeline scripting (preferred)

Containerization (Preferred)

  • Docker

  • Kubernetes (AKS)

Additional (Nice‑to‑Have)

  • DevSecOps tooling

  • Multi‑cloud exposure

  • FinOps (cost optimization)

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or Engineering.

  • Azure certifications (AZ‑104, AZ‑400) preferred.
