We are seeking an experienced Oracle HCM Consultant to join our client on an initial 6-month contract basis. This is an exciting opportunity to support and enhance an Oracle Fusion HCM environment, working closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to deliver effective HR solutions. The role is based in Birmingham with a hybrid working arrangement, requiring occasional travel to client sites as needed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide functional expertise across Oracle Fusion HCM modules.
  • Lead and support configuration, implementation, and optimisation of Oracle HCM solutions.
  • Work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into system solutions.
  • Configure and support Oracle Core HR, Absence Management, and Helpdesk modules.
  • Assist with system testing, defect resolution, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Deliver knowledge transfer and support to business users and internal teams.
  • Ensure solutions align with business processes and best practices.
  • Support reporting requirements and data analysis where required.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an Oracle HCM Functional Consultant.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion Core HR.
  • Experience configuring and supporting Oracle Absence Management.
  • Experience with Oracle Fusion Helpdesk.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within project teams.
  • Experience across the full project lifecycle, including requirements gathering, configuration, testing, and go-live support.
  • Experience with additional Oracle Fusion HCM modules.
  • Knowledge of Oracle reporting tools, including OTBI and BI Publisher.
  • Previous experience working within large-scale transformation or implementation programmes.

Initial 6-month contract. Hybrid working model based in Birmingham. Potential for contract extension based on project requirements and performance.
