Our client, a leading global consultancy, is seeking an experienced SAP MDG Associate Director to lead enterprise master data governance initiatives and complex SAP MDG projects. The role combines deep SAP MDG expertise, strong leadership, and strategic client advisory capabilities. This is an exciting opportunity to oversee implementation, optimization, and adoption of SAP MDG solutions across multiple business domains.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead SAP MDG projects end-to-end, including implementations, upgrades, and data governance transformations.
- Act as a strategic advisor to clients on master data management (MDM) and governance best practices.
- Oversee solution design, process standardization, and integration with SAP S/4HANA and other ERP modules.
- Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to define MDG strategy, roadmap, and policies.
- Manage, mentor, and develop SAP MDG teams, ensuring high-quality delivery and knowledge sharing.
- Drive business development opportunities, including proposals, client workshops, and thought leadership.
- Ensure compliance with governance, risk management, and data quality standards across projects.
- Stay updated on SAP MDG innovations, emerging technologies, and industry trends.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- 10+ years of SAP consulting experience, with at least 3–5 years in a leadership role focused on MDG or MDM.
- Strong expertise in SAP MDG (including MDG-M, MDG-C, MDG-F, MDG-S), data modeling, workflows, and validations.
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA integration, data governance processes, and data quality management.
- Proven track record managing large-scale SAP MDG implementations or transformations.
- Excellent client management, stakeholder engagement, and communication skills.
- Leadership experience in managing high-performing consulting teams.
