After School Care Club Support (Part Time)
Location: Brookwood Primary School GU24 OHF
Hours: 15:00-18:00 (Up to 15 hours a week)
NSSport are seeking professionals who are interested in supporting an after-school club service for children and young people within a primary school. This is a fantastic job opening for individuals looking to gain experience or progress their career in childcare, with encouraged opportunities for professional development.
THE ROLE WILL INCLUDE:
- Supporting the overall delivery of the after-school care club service
- Supporting the delivery of and leading activities (including Arts & Crafts, Playground Games and Free Play for example)
- Supporting the manager in caring for a group of children and young people
- Supporting the provision of snacks and meals for children and young people
THE INDIVIDUAL MUST HAVE:
- Previous experience or a keen interest and knowledge in working with children and young people
- The ability to work well in a team
- Good communication skills
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS/WILLINGNESS TO WORK TOWARDS:
- Food Hygiene and Safety certificate
- Safeguarding Children/Child Protection certificate
- A clear DBS certificate
- The above will be applied for on the individual's behalf
HOURS:
- Term Time: Up to 15 hours a week (15:00-18:00PM term-time only)
- Holiday Periods: Option available to work during holiday periods (more information available upon request)
