At Next we are looking for a dedicated Kitchen Porter to join our Catering team within our onsite Nursery at HO in Leicestershire. As a Kitchen Porter you will help maintain the high standards of hygiene and efficiency with the kitchen. This is a fast paced role serving our busy Nursery, you won’t just be cleaning; you’ll be an essential part of a team that ensures our children have a safe, healthy, and positive environment every day. This is a part time position working 27.5 hours per week Monday to Friday-12:30pm - 6pm.
What you’ll take on:
- Maintain Excellence: Operate commercial equipment to ensure all utensils and surfaces are cleaned and sanitised to health and safety standards.
- Support the Team: Assist with basic food preparation, such as preparing snacks and portioning fresh ingredients.
- Drive Efficiency: Manage food storage and supplies to ensure freshness, helping the business work smart and reduce waste.
- Organise the Space: Keep storage areas tidy to ensure the kitchen team has easy access to everything they need to succeed.
