Responsibilities
- Oversee the condition, performance, and reliability of geotechnical assets, reducing the risk of breakdowns and downtime.
- Plan, schedule, and coordinate maintenance, repairs, and upgrades of geotechnical equipment.
- Lead mobilisations of geotechnical assets, optimising efficiency and ensuring readiness.
- Support the Geotechnical Operations Manager in preparing and releasing lifting plans and deck plans.
- Lead inspections of geotechnical assets installed on both NextGeo vessels and third-party vessels.
- Utilise asset management systems, risk models, and performance metrics to support decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
- Provide technical input to support projects, emergency responses, and long-term asset planning.
- Coordinate with local agents to arrange logistics and support global operations.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in geotechnical equipment or asset management.
- Strong technical knowledge with the ability to communicate effectively with engineers, managers, and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with asset management systems and performance monitoring tools.
- Familiarity with international logistics and customs protocols (advantageous).
- Basic CAD experience (advantageous).
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills, with a proactive and safety-first mindset.
