We are looking for LGV Class 1 Drivers to support our operations based out of Hemel Hempstead. Base salary of £18.06 per hour plus 11% London weighting (c£43,300 basic, plus premiums). We also pay additional premium rates, weekly overtime x1.3 and rest day working x1.5 plus you’ll be part of our Driver bonus scheme.
What You’ll Take On
- Transporting clothing and homeware products to our stores in the South & Midlands along with some trunk runs.
- Adopt a ‘Safety First’ mindset where nothing is placed over the safety of yourself, the public or your colleagues.
- All shifts operate on a 5 days out of 7 schedule which includes weekend working (approx 3 on, 3 off) plus other odd weekend days.
- There are two positions available:
- Position 1 - The shifts start between 03:00-10:00 totalling 42 hours per week.
- Position 2 - The shifts start between 10:00-17:00 totalling 42 hours per week.
Successful applicants will receive 2 days of training from a Driver Development Coach (DDC) and will be aligned to a Manager to provide any additional support required outside of their training alongside any support provided by the DDC.
What You’ll Bring
- Class 1 C+E license holders with a CPC card.
- Minimum of 1 year Class 1 HGV driving experience including the coupling and uncoupling of trailers.
- Maximum of 6 points on license and no convictions.

- Saturday: £3.00 per hour
- Sunday: £5.00 per hour
- Night rate (between the hours 22:00-06:00):
- Sunday - Thursday: £3.00 per hour
- Friday: £5.00 per hour
- Saturday: £7.55 per hour (until 30/09/26)
- London weighting: 11%
