Role Overview:
The QC Analyst will support the Quality Control laboratory by performing day-to-day testing of the company's own DNA products and environmental monitoring of the GMP facility. This role involves collaboration with operational departments to meet Quality and product requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform QC testing on raw materials and finished products using molecular biology, microbiology, and biochemistry techniques (e.g., bioburden, endotoxin, gel electrophoresis, pH, HPLC/UPLC).
- Conduct environmental monitoring of the GMP facility.
- Carry out reagent preparation, sample and goods receipt, procurement, equipment verification, and housekeeping activities.
- Maintain accurate documentation in line with regulatory standards.
Reporting Line: Reports to the QC Manager and supports the Head of Quality Assurance.
Requirements:
- Degree in a scientific discipline (MSc preferred).
- Experience in a GMP environment.
- Strong knowledge of QC processes, ideally in microbiology.
- Proficiency with techniques such as Environmental Monitoring, Bioburden, Gel Electrophoresis, and/or HPLC/UPLC.
- Practical experience with aseptic techniques.
