We have a great opportunity to join a manufacturing team in Royston, as a Production Build Technician. You will produce small, high value bioprocess systems to the highest level of efficiency, quality and cost. As a Production Build Technician, you will be part of the production team responsible for the hands-on assembly, wiring or testing of products. You will also work with other internal functions to continuously identify design, process and efficiency improvements.
Your Responsibilities
- Work hands-on as part of the production team to mechanically assemble products
- Assembly may require some wiring and testing of the product
- Follow a defined process accurately
- Work within the Production Engineering team and other internal functions to continuously identify design, process and efficiency improvements
- Ensure that production documentation is correctly recorded and is kept up to date
- Effective communication with the Cell Leader(s) to maintain maximum efficiency of the Cell(s)
- Work as part of the team to ensure work is completed to required timescales, output and quality targets
- Involved in the implementation and maintenance of lean manufacturing philosophies
- Batch release
