We are seeking an experienced MS&T Site Lead to join the site leadership team and take ownership of the Manufacturing Science & Technology function. This role is critical in driving performance across People, Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost, ensuring alignment with site and MS&T strategy. The successful candidate will lead technical operations, oversee product and process improvements, and ensure all materials, products, and equipment are designed, validated, and operating to the highest standards. This position plays a key role in enabling reliable, compliant, and efficient production of both existing and new products.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the MS&T function at site level, working closely with Operations leadership.
- Act as the primary point of contact for all MS&T activities, including:
- Product remediation and OOS investigations
- Technology transfers and new product introductions
- Process and product improvements
Key Performance Indicators
- Delivery of site projects on time, within scope, and on budget.
- Compliance with regulatory and quality requirements.
- Effective risk management and proactive issue resolution.
- Strong cross-functional engagement and leadership.
Essential Criteria
- Degree in Science or Engineering with 8+ years’ experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Proven experience in pharmaceutical technical operations and product lifecycle management.
- Strong knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies.
- Experience in technical operations, engineering, and/or manufacturing.
- Demonstrated project management expertise and change management capability.
- Proven leadership experience with ability to influence and develop teams.
- Excellent communication skills across all levels of the organisation.
Desirable Criteria
- Expertise in validation (process, cleaning) and process development.
- Experience in technical transfers, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
- Familiarity with global pharmaceutical supply requirements and associated regulations.
- Project management certification or advanced training.
