Role Summary
The Lab Technician will join our product design and development function, supporting device development and testing activities. Working under supervision, this role ensures that laboratory work is executed to a high standard, delivering accurate and reliable data in line with internal and external project requirements. You will help maintain best practice within the laboratory, contributing to the quality, consistency, and integrity of scientific outputs.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure it operates effectively.
- Follow operating instructions and undertake routine preventative maintenance.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and escalate where necessary.
- Record information accurately in laboratory logs and equipment records.
- Investigate and resolve problems by examining and evaluating data.
- Prepare samples and conduct routine laboratory testing according to procedures and protocols.
- Perform data checking and prepare written test reports.
- Develop working knowledge of laboratory procedures and subject matter.
