We are seeking an experienced Senior QA Manager to join a world-class pharmaceutical manufacturer at their advanced site in Cork. Qualifications & Experience
- Master’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or similar field
- 7–10 years’ Quality Assurance experience in the pharmaceutical industry within a GMP environment
- Minimum of 3 years’ leadership experience, developing and managing teams
- Strong knowledge of cGMP, ICH, ISO guidelines, and global regulatory expectations
- Fluency in English and excellent communication skills
- Experience in operational areas such as Manufacturing, R&D, or QC (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Guarantee cGMP compliance across processes and projects
- Manage and develop the QA team, ensuring high performance and alignment with strategic goals
- Lead regulatory and client audits, ensuring readiness at all times
- Approve complex documentation, change controls, and quality standards
- Monitor performance KPIs and initiate corrective actions when needed
- Drive continuous improvement to streamline QA processes and enhance compliance
- Coordinate recruitment, training, and performance evaluation of team members
- Oversee planning and budgeting activities for the QA function
