An established and progressive accountancy practice is looking for an experienced Audit Senior to join its growing team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an ACA/ACCA qualified or part-qualified accountant looking to take the next step in their career, with responsibility for a varied portfolio of clients and the opportunity to develop towards a management-level position.
The Role
- Lead audit assignments from planning through to completion
- Prepare and review audit working papers and financial statements
- Identify key risks and provide practical recommendations to clients
- Build and maintain strong client relationships
- Review the work of junior team members and provide guidance
- Support the preparation of year-end accounts and tax computations where required
- Ensure assignments are delivered accurately, efficiently and within deadlines
- Contribute to the continued development of the firm's audit and advisory services
About You
- ACA/ACCA qualified or part-qualified, or equivalent
- Previous experience in an audit role within an accountancy practice
- Strong knowledge of audit procedures and accounting standards
- Experience managing audit assignments and client relationships
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines
- Experience supervising or mentoring junior team members
