The Learning Manager will report to the Learning Partner in UK&I reporting into Head of Learning EU and be part of a EU team.

The role of Learning Manager will support value creation for patients by enabling Patient Value Strategy (PVS) through:

– Being a trusted Learning partner to local internal customers
– Developing and maintaining positive internal customer relationships across the business
– Proactively gathering insights on customer needs and helping them to identify how and whether learning can best support these needs
– Closing the gap between current and future capabilities, by execution of a good capability plan with the business. Execution of efficient build plans and measure their impact
– Supporting on-boarding training plans for all products and indications
– Support the adaptation of Global campaigns to local
– Assisting in the development of a learning mindset in an environment of Trust, Reflection, Empowerment and Knowledge Sharing

They act as an ambassador for our global learning strategy. As well as being reactive and responding to ad-hoc learning requests, the Learning Manager must also proactively listen to and capture business needs and assess whether or which learning solution can address them.

Major Accountabilities:

Set, maintain and work on continuous improvements of learning for the UK&I Team:

• Gather insights from the Stakeholders on the direction of respective organization, including yearly objectives and priorities of the business.
• Using these insights, ensures learning needs are met using relevant and globally aligned solutions. This encompasses inputting towards: learning needs assessments; ideation of how to customize and maximize existing global solutions and, where global solutions are unavailable, ideating new specific solutions.
• Measure and monitor impact of all training and assessments of the UK&I team

Work on the continuous improvement of learning mindset of local teams:

• Taking into account business and technological evolutions and by gathering and monitoring feedback, the learning experiences and outcomes (knowledge exchange and understanding, behavioral change), work on continuous improvement of learning mindset through facilitation, sharing knowledge of best practice to improve expertise across the organization, coaching on field,

Acting as an outstanding course facilitator.

• With curriculum and content provided to him/her by the company, he/she interprets these into learning experiences that motivate, build competencies, and improve individual\’s performance and contribution to strategy and results. The Learning Manager will use blended learning experience tools – including face to face and technologically assisted (virtual) learning solutions and will be responsible for keeping up to date with and implementing rapidly the latest trends and methods in learning facilitation.
• Brief all subject matter experts and ensure consistency across the teams
• Where required will create local content and project lead when agencies are required to support.
• Utilize Learning Ops, local events teams and admin support to build on-boardings and events, and where more effective complete the admin task themselves.
• Ensure all training materials compliant and local approved

Requirements

Experience/Criteria:

• 1-3 years of progressive experience in Learning and/or Talent Development, ideally within pharma commercial, high growth, innovative companies are also highly considered
• Great knowledge of Sales Training and/or experience as Sales representative/Management is desired
• Proven experience deploying/implementing country learning & development programs.
• Proven experience working directly with and supporting business leaders
• Experience of working in a cross functional team
