Role and Responsibilities of MOT Tester:
- Carry out MOT testing
- Communicate directly with customers to identify/understand concerns with vehicle running performance and to advise about technical issues
- Road test vehicles on completion of repair/service work, also accompanying customers for demonstration of vehicle concerns or faults
- Receive ongoing manufacturer training, both in-house and external training centres
- Support others around the business by performing to the best of your ability

The ideal candidate:
- Experience as a MOT Tester
- Possesses technical knowledge of a range of vehicle makes and models
- Able to communicate clearly with customers and colleagues alike
- Demonstrates a strong customer focus and takes pride in delivering a high-quality experience that is second-to-none
- Is well-presented and able to engage and build positive relationships with customers and colleagues
- Can work quickly, while maintaining quality assurance in order to maximise workshop capacity
- Thrives and remains calm under pressure, whilst meeting deadlines
Key requirements:
- Qualified & experienced MOT Tester (essential)
- Full UK driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points
- A desire to provide exceptional customer experiences
- Computer literate and can easily learn new systems
