Are you a conceptually-driven, social-first content creator who lives and breathes social media and content creation? A bold and brave thinker who is driven to push boundaries within social? Then this is the role for you! The role of Social Media Content Creator is a hands-on one, where you’ll be developing ideas, capturing content on-site with clients, and turning it into engaging, platform-first video. You’ll be involved from concept through to delivery, creating content that not only looks great but performs.
The role will involve regular travel to client sites, so you’ll need to be comfortable working on location and managing shoots in real-world environments.
What you’ll be doing:
- Creating social-first content ideas aligned to trends and platform behaviour
- Planning and delivering content shoots on-site with clients
- Filming and editing short-form video for platforms like TikTok and Instagram
- Managing content from concept through to publishing
- Analysing performance and using insights to improve future content
- Supporting with content calendars, scheduling and community management
- Working closely with internal teams to deliver campaigns end-to-end
Experience
To be considered, you must:
- Show you have experience working in a similar role and within an agency setting.
- Have strong experience creating short-form video content for social platforms is also crucial, as well as a confidence in filming and editing (CapCut, Premiere Pro or similar).
- Be comfortable working directly with clients and on-location shoots, sometimes flying solo and have a good understanding of social trends, audiences and platform nuances.
- Demonstrate a deep understanding of tailoring social media execution for different audiences, recognising how factors like demographics, scale, and niche sub-cultures influence content strategy.
- Be able to balance creative thinking with performance-driven content.
