This agency has been established for a long time and over the years, has gone from strength to strength! Working with lots of clients across a broad range of sectors, they are now going through a period of growth and are looking to hire a Senior/Lead Motion Graphics Designer into their creative team and wider agency.
Description
As the Senior/Lead Motion Graphics Designer, you will oversee all video and animation projects within the agency, whilst also creating video and animation projects yourself. This is a hands-on managerial role, managing both creative output and project timelines. You will lead and mentor a team of motion designers, ensuring creative quality, consistency with brand/client goals, and on-time delivery. You will balance creative leadership with production oversight and team development, leading all video and animation projects from concept to delivery.
- Manage a team of motion designers.
- Collaborate with Creative Directors, Account Managers, Animators, and clients to define project scopes and creative vision.
- Ensure consistency and quality across all motion output.
- Allocate resources, assign tasks, and manage timelines/budgets.
- Stay updated on trends in motion graphics, animation, and video production.
You will need to be in the office 1 - 2 days a week when required to brief in big video projects.
Experience
You will be able to demonstrate your experience in motion graphics via a portfolio/showreel full of engaging and eye-catching animations and videos, from storyboards through to final animations, both 2D and 3D. You will have a real creative flair and be confident liaising directly with clients and articulating and visualising storyboards and designs. You will also have experience managing creative teams and be able to demonstrate that you have experience managing not just your own projects, but that of a team, ensuring work is delivered to a high standard, on time and budget.
Other experience/skills required:
- Proficiency in Adobe After Effects and Premiere Pro.
- A basic knowledge of audio editing for levelling VO and making seamless music cuts.
- A knowledge of character animation and 3D animation would be very advantageous (not required).
