We are looking for an experienced Paid Media Specialist to join a busy and fast-growing agency team on a freelance basis. You will be supporting the team during key activation and planning periods, and working on well-known brands to shape paid media strategies.

You will play a hands-on role in both media planning and campaign activation across:

  • Paid Social
  • PPC

From constructing detailed media laydowns to navigating complex ad platforms and launching high-performing campaigns, you will combine strategic thinking with meticulous execution.

You are responsible for:

  • Planning and activating campaigns across multiple paid channels
  • Managing and optimising client budgets responsibly to drive measurable performance
  • Identifying and acting quickly on optimisation opportunities
  • Reporting on performance in a clear, high-level format for senior stakeholders
  • Sharing industry updates and insights
  • Monitoring and reporting on fanbase growth, community engagement, and sentiment
  • Leading paid activity for major clients with confidence and clarity

Experience

  • Proven freelance experience in paid social, PPC, and programmatic
  • Strong knowledge of campaign planning, activation, and performance optimisation
  • A sharp eye for detail and a deep understanding of performance metrics
  • Confidence in presenting results and insights to senior stakeholders
  • A passion for digital advertising in all its forms, with an appreciation for both performance and brand-building
  • Up-to-date knowledge of evolving measurement approaches (including MMM and broader attribution models)
  • A proactive, agile mindset - someone who spots opportunities and acts fast
