We're delighted to be working with a fantastic and hugely respected agency to find a Digital Designer (UX & UI) to join their growing creative team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a highly creative, strategically minded digital designer who’s looking for more than just the next job title. Our client is looking for someone with the talent and ambition to step into a senior role now, with a clear path to grow further with the business over the coming years. The agency creates thoughtful, beautifully crafted work for consumer-facing and retail brands. They’re looking for someone who can bring together UX thinking, UI craft, and strong conceptual creativity – someone who can lead digital projects, inspire confidence with clients, and help shape the next chapter of the team.

Description

As Digital Designer, you’ll lead digital projects from concept through to delivery, working across UX, UI, websites, ecommerce journeys, and interactive brand experiences. You’ll be involved in everything from early thinking and user journeys through to interface design, presentations, and handover, collaborating with strategists, developers, and the wider creative team to deliver digital work that is both brand-led and commercially effective. You’ll also play an important role internally: mentoring more junior designers, helping to elevate the quality of the work, and contributing to the agency's broader creative direction.

Experience

  • This role would be especially well-suited to someone with experience working with retail, lifestyle, hospitality or consumer brands.
  • Ideally, you'll have worked in environments where customer journey, brand storytelling, and digital performance all matter.
  • A strong background in digital design, with a strong grounding in UX and UI.
  • Previous experience in an agency or fast-paced creative environment.
  • A strong portfolio showing brand-led digital work, creative thinking, and excellent visual craft.
  • Experience leading projects and presenting work confidently to clients and internal stakeholders.
  • The ability to think strategically as well as visually, balancing user needs, brand expression, and commercial objectives.
  • Experience mentoring or supporting more junior designers.
  • Strong collaboration skills and confidence working alongside developers, strategists, and account teams.
  • Experience with enterprise ecommerce or CMS platforms such as Salesforce Commerce Cloud or Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) would also be a real advantage.
