We are delighted to be working with a leading UK professional services organisation to recruit a Communications Executive into their marketing and corporate communications team. This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate who enjoys creating engaging content, supporting campaigns, and helping colleagues feel informed, connected, and part of a shared culture.

You will join a well-established marketing and communications team supporting a national professional services business. The wider function delivers internal and external communications, brand, digital, events, bids, and client development activity. The corporate communications team works closely with senior leadership and colleagues across the business to ensure consistent messaging, strong employee engagement, and a clear, authentic voice internally.

Description

Reporting to the Head of Internal Communications, you will play an important role in shaping how colleagues across the business receive and engage with internal messaging. You will support the delivery of the internal communications strategy, create compelling content across multiple channels, and help deliver campaigns and events that bring the organisation's culture and values to life. This role would suit someone who enjoys both creative content creation and the coordination of communications activity across a large organisation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the development and delivery of the internal communications strategy
  • Ensure communications reflect organisational values, tone of voice, and priorities
  • Write and edit high-quality internal content including emails, newsletters, and intranet articles
  • Produce engaging multimedia materials such as presentations, graphics, and short videos
  • Maintain and update internal communications channels including intranet pages and digital signage
  • Assist with planning and delivery of internal communications campaigns
  • Coordinate messaging, timelines, and channel plans to ensure consistent campaign delivery
  • Support the day-to-day management of internal communication channels
  • Monitor channel performance and engagement, recommending improvements
  • Assist with the planning and delivery of internal events and employee engagement initiatives
  • Analyse engagement metrics and feedback to assess communications effectiveness
  • Prepare regular reports and insights to inform continuous improvement
  • Support communication governance processes, including approvals and channel standards

Experience

  • Experience in an internal communications, employee engagement, PR, or corporate communications role
  • Strong writing and editing skills for internal audiences
  • Experience producing content such as newsletters, intranet articles, and presentations
  • The ability to gather information from a range of stakeholders and turn it into clear communications
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines

Remuneration

Hybrid working (2 days in the office, 3 WFH)
