About the Role
We are delighted to announce that we are recruiting for an experienced Service & Maintenance Technician to join our clients engineering team, working with food processing machinery across the UK, Ireland and occasionally overseas. This is a hands‑on role combining site‑based engineering with workshop work at our clients Deeside facility.
Key Responsibilities
- Commissioning, servicing, repairing and maintaining machinery on customer sites
- Mechanical & electrical fault‑finding
- Working on electrical control panels
- Workshop‑based maintenance and refurbishment
- Communicating directly with customers on repairs and safety
- UK & Ireland travel with occasional overnight stays
- Occasional travel to Germany for training, trials and PDIs
Skills & Experience
- Apprentice‑trained, formally qualified engineer
- Strong mechanical & electrical background
- Experience with 3‑phase motors
- Ability to build and fault‑find electrical panels
- Comfortable reading electrical drawings
- Full clean UK driving licence
- Flexible approach to travel and working hours
