About the Role
As a Marine Survey Advisor, you’ll play a vital part in the successful execution of offshore survey and construction support projects. You’ll work across departments to ensure technical readiness, operational efficiency, and alignment with project goals — delivering the quality and precision that Next Geosolutions is known for.
Reporting Structure
- Reports to: Technical Manager
- Collaborates with: Project Manager (PM), Asset & Mobilisation Manager, QHSE Team
Key Responsibilities
- Support PM and Operations throughout project execution.
- Review and confirm operational resources (personnel, equipment/software) as outlined during bidding.
- Draft and maintain clear, accurate project procedures.
- Ensure subcontractor equipment and sensors meet contractual requirements.
- Collaborate with the Asset & Mobilisation team on mobilisation planning and execution, including pole/GA/welding operations, providing engineering support as needed.
- Attend client and internal technical meetings.
- Contribute technical insights to the Commercial team, including proposals, alternative solutions, and line plans aligned with client specifications.
What You Bring
- Experience in similar offshore roles (e.g., positioning, ROV, ROTV, geophysical surveys, construction support).
- Strong technical background in survey or engineering disciplines.
- Fluent English (written and spoken).
- A proactive, team-oriented mindset with the ability to operate in fast-paced project environments.
