Compensation & Employment

  • Salary: Up to £60,000 p.a. (DOE)
  • Contract Type: Permanent
  • Hours: Monday - Thursday 8.30am - 17.00pm, Friday 8.30am - 13.30pm

Responsibilities

  • Providing advice and support to teams to meet requirements of legislation, ISO standards and company processes & procedures
  • Supporting implementation of HSE Policies to drive improvements and gain / maintain certification
  • Promoting a proactive approach to HSE management including regular floor walks & contact with supervisors & managers to ensure issues are clearly understood and effectively managed
  • Investigation of site issues, accidents, incidents including production of accident & incident reports and root cause analysis
  • Facilitating the delivery of corrective and preventive actions for significant issues in conjunction with the relevant teams / managers
  • Internal Auditing / Supplier auditing with reporting and follow up of findings

Qualifications

  • 3 - 5 year's experience as a Health & Safety Manager (Essential)
  • NEBOSH & or COSHH certified (Essential)
  • 3 - 5 years' experience working within a manufacturing/production environment (Essential)
  • Absolute understanding of ISO14001 & 45001 (Essential)
