Next Generation are proud to have been appointed to recruit for a Technical Sales Executive to work with a global leading manufacturer who supply into multiple industries such as Oil & Gas, Petrochemical and Sub Sea.
As the Technical Sales Executive you will be responsible for generating and securing new business directly with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM’s) and sub vendors.

Working hours: Monday – Friday (8.30am – 17.30pm)
Duties:
- Pro-actively generate new business opportunities, through one’s own initiative and where necessary with the support and direction of the team to develop the core propositions and generate and close new business leads.
- Development of dormant and underperforming accounts.
- Development and brand awareness of the company with target customer base across the designated region.
- Providing regular reporting and updates of account activity and ensure delivery of service to the satisfaction of the client, whilst being a conduit from sales desk to client.
- Follow up, support and action any potential new business clients from the team.
- Generate a substantive sales opportunity pipeline and to achieve sales targets as defined by the Sales Director.
- Manage the sales process from initial opportunity through to the securing of the client purchase order, ensuring successful service delivery.
- To develop and maintain knowledge and experience of relevant technologies.
Experience / Qualifications:
- Experience selling directly to OEM’s (Essential)
- 5 years’ experience working within the Power Generation, Oil & Gas or Sub Sea markets (Desirable)
- 3 – 5 years’ working within a fast paced sales environment (Essential)
- Previous experience working within a precision manufacturing environment (Essential)
- Absolute understanding of the sales cycle (Essential)
- Managing high level commercial relationships (Essential)
