Next Generation have been appointed to recruit for a Maintenance Manager to work for a well-established global leading manufacturing business based near Tewkesbury. As the Maintenance Manager you will be responsible for leading a team of Maintenance Engineers whilst having the ability to lead from the front.

Duties of the Maintenance Manager:

  • Managing and supporting the maintenance department
  • Managing reactive breakdowns to minimise downtime and disruption to production
  • Overseeing Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) activities
  • Ensuring maintenance tasks are completed and recorded accurately within the CMMS system
  • Supporting training and development of maintenance team members
  • Working closely with production and other departments to coordinate priorities and handovers
  • Monitoring equipment performance and supporting improvements to Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE)
  • Managing shift documentation, permits, and maintenance records
  • Ensuring all maintenance activities are completed safely and in compliance with company procedures
  • Supporting continuous improvement and engineering best practice across the site

The successful candidate for the Maintenance Manager's position will have the following experience:

  • Five years experience working as a Maintenance Manager / Supervisor (Essential)
  • Either 17th or 18th edition certified (Essential)
  • Electrically bias (Essential)
  • Previous experience working with turned parts or a machining environment (Desirable)
