Next Generation have been appointed to lead the recruitment for a Health & Safety Manager to work with a leading manufacturer who provide bespoke solutions to their global network. As the Health & Safety Manager you will be responsible for promoting a positive HSE culture across the clients manufacturing facility.
Duties of the Health & Safety Manager:
- Providing advice and support to teams to meet requirements of legislation, ISO standards and company processes & procedures
- Supporting implementation of HSE Policies to drive improvements and gain / maintain certification
- Promoting a proactive approach to HSE management including regular floor walks & contact with supervisors & managers to ensure issues are clearly understood and effectively managed.
- Investigation of site issues, accidents, incidents including production of accident & incident reports and root cause analysis
- Facilitating the delivery of corrective and preventive actions for significant issues in conjunction with the relevant teams / managers
- Internal Auditing / Supplier auditing with reporting and follow up of findings
The successful candidate for the Health & Safety Manager position will have the following experience:
- 3 – 5 year’s experience as a Health & Safety Manager (Essential)
- NEBOSH & or COSHH certified (Essential)
- 3 – 5 years’ experience working within a manufacturing/production environment (Essential)
- Absolute understanding of ISO14001 & 45001 (Essential)
