Next Generation are pleased to have been appointed to recruit for a Production Planner to work with a well-established engineering company based near Kingswinford. As the Production Planner, you will be responsible for processing and planning of orders for machined components.
Working hours for the Production Planner:
- Monday to Friday 8am to 4.30pm

Duties of the Production Planner:
- Process all new sales orders, ensuring routings selected are most economical and fully compliant with customer requirements
- Review specifications and drawings, providing technical support and assistance to any departments within the business that require it
- Create ITPs / MPSs based on customer requirements ensuring all technical and quality aspects are met
- Work closely with production planning to ensure that the best route is chosen to suit the business's current capacity and capabilities
- Dealing with customers regarding any queries of a technical nature where support is needed
- Performing contract review of sales orders and routings
- Deal with suppliers and procurement as necessary
