- Rotating double days (week one 6am – 2pm) (week two 2pm – 10pm)

Due to continued growth, I’m currently recruiting for a Manual Machinist to work with a well-established engineering company based near Halesowen. As the Manual Machinist you will be responsible for ensuring quality engineering of components using relevant procedures and methods.
Duties of the Manual Machinist:
- Machining quality components in accordance with technical engineering drawings and specifications
- Manual Milling
- Manual Turning
- Boring
- Setting one off components using clamps, angle plates, etc.
- Correctly identifying parts using hard stamping.
- Deburring components and ensuring they are fit for transportation.
- Carry out daily bookings against route card jobs and timings.
- Inspection for all components throughout the process.
- Maintain a safe working environment and comply with the Company’s H&S Policy.
The successful candidate for the Manual Machinist position will have the following experience:
- Time Served Apprenticeship, with an appropriate craft or technical qualification (preferable)
- Experience milling, boring and turning within a heavy engineering environment (Essential)
- Able to read and interpret technical Engineering drawings (Essential)
