We are working with a growing and innovative engineering business within the HVAC sector that is looking to appoint a Technical Estimator to support the delivery of bespoke Air Handling Unit solutions across a diverse range of projects. Duties Will Include:
As Technical Estimator, you will be responsible for producing AHU selections, pricing, and technical proposals. You’ll work closely with internal sales and project teams to deliver practical, cost-effective solutions from initial enquiry through to order.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparing AHU selections and detailed quotations
- Reviewing specifications, drawings, and tender documentation
- Providing technical support to internal teams and customers
- Liaising with suppliers to develop optimal solutions
- Value engineering to balance performance and cost
- Ensuring compliance with project requirements and standards
Skills and Experience Needed:
- Experience in AHU selection and/or HVAC estimating
- Strong understanding of ventilation systems
- Confident working with technical specifications, drawings, and tenders
- Commercially aware with a practical, solution-focused mindset
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
