I am currently working with a well-established security systems provider who is looking for a CCTV Service Engineer to support their growing operations. You will be involved in delivering a high-quality, professional service, responsible for the installation, commissioning and maintenance of Intruder Alarm, CCTV and Access Control systems across domestic, commercial and industrial sites. This is a field-based role, covering the Worcestershire and surrounding areas, reporting directly to the Operations Director.

Duties Will Include:

  • Install and commission both small and large-scale Intruder Alarm, CCTV and Access Control systems
  • Carry out detailed on-site diagnostics, identifying existing and potential system issues
  • Clearly communicate findings, solutions and recommendations to customers
  • Identify opportunities for system enhancements by understanding customer needs
  • Ensure customers are fully satisfied and that sites are left clean, tidy and compliant
  • Support management with stock control when required
  • Keep up to date with industry standards, regulations and emerging technologies through training and toolbox talks

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Ideally minimum 3 years experience within the security industry
  • ECS or CSCS card with sound Health & Safety knowledge would be beneficial
  • Emergency First Aid at Work certification
  • Working knowledge of British Standards relating to installation and maintenance
  • Strong hands-on experience with Honeywell Galaxy and Texecom systems
  • Confident fault-finding and troubleshooting across a range of systems
