Next Generation are currently recruiting for a Quality Engineer to work with a global leading manufacturer near Willenhall. As the Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for promoting a positive quality culture ensuring the delivery of quality components to meet customer requirements and quality expectations.

Duties of the Quality Engineer:

  • Support the upkeep of the Business Management System
  • Ability to create Processes & Procedures
  • Ability to create and support the upkeep of Quality Metrics
  • Liaise with Customers & Suppliers in Complaints handling
  • Be competent in Quality Principles including Problem Resolution / Root Cause Analysis
  • To carry out Internal & Supplier audits as required within the organisation
  • Support Customer and Third-Party Audits
  • Creating ISIRs / FAIRs
  • Support all internal departments with quality related matters
  • Be fully conversant in reading engineering drawings
  • Read and understand customer specifications/POs in order to effectively complete contract reviews
  • Assist in maintaining and adhering to the organisations accredited systems such as AS9100, ISO9001 and all customer requirements
  • To perform other such duties as generally correspond to the nature of the position and its level of responsibility

The successful candidate for the Quality Engineer's position will have the following experience:

  • 3 - 5 years experience working as a Quality Engineer (Essential)
  • Working to AS9100 & ISO9001 quality standards (Essential)
  • Experience working with precision machined components (Essential)
  • Ability to use Quality tools such as RCA, 8D, NCR and CAPA (Essential)
  • Compiling PPAP documentation (Essential)
  • Ability to use handheld measuring equipment (Essential)

You will be self-motivated, possess excellent communication skills both verbal and written to be able to communicate and build good relationships.
