Salary: £18.50 - £19.50 per hour (DOE)
Working Hours: Monday-Thursday (08:00am-17:00pm), Friday (8:00am-13:00pm)

Due to continued growth, Next Generation are recruiting for a Cylindrical Grinder to work with a well-established engineering company based in West Bromwich who specialise in precision engineering for the Aerospace Industry. As the Cylindrical Grinder, you will be responsible for taking pride and accuracy within a precision engineering environment.
Duties of the Cylindrical Grinder:
- Full setup and operation of surface and/or cylindrical grinders
- Working to tight tolerances from engineering drawings
- Selecting and dressing grinding wheels
- In-process inspection and final quality checks
- Maintaining high accuracy and finish standards
- Working independently within a structured quality environment
The successful candidate for the Cylindrical Grinder position will have the following experience:
- Proven experience in surface and/or cylindrical grinding
- Ability to work from detailed engineering drawings
- Strong understanding of tolerances and surface finishes
- Confident setting up machines independently
- High attention to detail and quality standards
- Reliable and self-motivated
