Next Generation are pleased to have been appointed to recruit for a Production Planner to work with a well-established engineering company based near Kingswinford. As the Production Planner, you will be responsible for processing and planning of orders for machined components.
Working hours for the Production Planner: Monday to Friday 8am to 4.30pm.

Duties of the Production Planner:
- Process all new sales orders, ensuring routings selected are most economical and fully compliant with customer requirements.
- Review specifications and drawings, providing technical support and assistance to any departments within the business that require it.
- Create ITPs / MPSs based on customer requirements ensuring all technical and quality aspects are met.
- Work closely with production planning to ensure that the best route is chosen to suit the business's current capacity and capabilities.
- Dealing with customers regarding any queries of a technical nature where support is needed.
- Performing contract review of sales orders and routings.
- Deal with suppliers and procure raw material / finished goods to meet customer demand.
The successful candidate for the Production Planner position will have the following experience:
- 3 to 5 years experience working as a Production Engineer/Planner (Essential).
- Looking into the best route of manufacture (Essential).
- Experience working within a machining environment (Essential).
- Working within a Fasteners environment (Desirable).
- Working with ERP Systems (Essential).
