Next Generation are currently recruiting for a CNC Turner to work with a well-established engineering company based near Halesowen. Reporting to the Toolroom Manager, the CNC Turner will be responsible for ensuring quality engineering of components using relevant procedures and methods.
Duties of the CNC Turner:
- Machining quality components in accordance with technical engineering drawings and specifications
- Fanuc & Heidenhain controls
- Setting one-off components using clamps, angle plates, etc.
- Deburring components and ensuring they are fit for transportation
- Carry out daily bookings against route card jobs and timings
- Inspection for all components throughout the process
- Maintain a safe working environment and comply with the Company’s H&S Policy
The successful candidate for the CNC Turner position will have the following experience:
- 3-5 years experience as a CNC Turner (Essential)
- Ability to use Fanuc & Heidenhain controls (Essential)
- Ability to program offline (Desirable)
- Able to read and interpret technical engineering drawings (Essential)
