Next Generation have been appointed to recruit for a Maintenance Manager to work for a well-established global leading manufacturing business based near Tewkesbury. As the Maintenance Manager you will be responsible for leading a team of Maintenance Engineers whilst having the ability to lead from the front.
Duties of the Maintenance Manager:
- Managing and supporting the maintenance department
- Overseeing Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) activities
- Ensuring maintenance tasks are completed and recorded accurately within the CMMS system
- Supporting training and development of maintenance team members
- Monitoring equipment performance and supporting improvements to Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE)
- Managing shift documentation, permits, and maintenance records
- Ensuring all maintenance activities are completed safely and in compliance with company procedures
- Supporting continuous improvement and engineering best practice across the site
The successful candidate for the Maintenance Manager's position will have the following experience:
- Five years experience working as a Maintenance Manager / Supervisor (Essential)
- Previous experience working with turned parts or a machining environment (Desirable)
