Due to expansion, Next Generation are currently recruiting for a Capstan Setter to work with a leading global manufacturer producing machined components for the piping industry. With several divisions and a global footprint the Capstan Setter will be responsible for setting tooling, die heads, roller-boxes and fette heads. The following shifts are available for the Capstan Setter: Monday – Friday (Days) What’s on offer for the Capstan Setter: Competitive rate up to £16.00 per hour on days Benefits for the Capstan Setter: 34 days holiday (including bank holidays) Free parking Free uniform Free drinks Pension Scheme Development opportunities Duties of the Capstan Setter: Set and Operate Capstan Lathe Safely and Effectively. Monitor Machinery and Report Problems. Monitor Coolant Levels and Top up as required. Ensure one’s own safety and that of others. Cooperate with employer on OH&S training and guidance. Do not interfere or misuse anything provided in the interest of health & safety. ensure PPE is worn when required. Report any accident, near miss or ill health immediately to employer.
