Next Gen Trading is a specialized systematic trading firm. We are currently expanding our desk and are actively seeking disciplined professionals to manage firm‑allocated capital.

As a fully licensed UKVI Sponsor, we actively welcome applications from candidates currently holding a Graduate / Post‑Study Work (PSW) visa who require a structured pathway to secure a Skilled Worker Visa (SWV). Our firm provides the institutional framework, capital, and regulatory training required to qualify for permanent sponsorship.

The Role

This is a performance‑driven position focused on G10 currencies and financial derivatives. Analysts are responsible for identifying market opportunities, executing systematic trading strategies, and managing downside risk in strict accordance with our firm’s mandates.

Entry Requirements & Qualifications

To ensure the protection of firm capital and compliance with our internal risk standards, all candidates must meet the criteria for one of our two entry routes:

  • Route 1: Direct Entry (Experienced) – Must provide a verifiable live trading track record of at least 6 months. Demonstrated ability to generate consistent risk‑adjusted returns while adhering to strict institutional drawdown limits.
  • Route 2: Academy Pathway (Graduate / Trainee) – We recognize that high‑potential candidates (including recent graduates on PSW visas) may not yet possess a 6‑month verifiable track record. Candidates without this experience must enter via our Academy Pathway. To qualify for live capital management and permanent SWV sponsorship, Academy candidates must hold or complete the VTCT Level 7 Diploma in Applied Financial Trading. This regulated, Master’s‑level qualification serves as our firm's benchmark for technical competency, risk management, and market analysis.

General Requirements

  • Strong numerical, analytical, and problem‑solving aptitude (STEM, Finance, or Economics backgrounds are advantageous).
  • Unwavering discipline to operate within strict risk management frameworks.
  • Excellent record‑keeping skills for performance audits and trading journals.

What We Offer

  • Visa Sponsorship: Full SWV sponsorship at the mandated £45,800 salary threshold for eligible candidates upon successful completion of onboarding.
  • Capital & Tech: Direct access to firm capital and professional‑grade trading infrastructure once accredited.
  • Performance Incentives: Uncapped, performance‑based commission structure tied to P&L.
