As a Vice President in the Diversified Industries Corporates Team, you will work with a broad spectrum of clients across key sectors, including Automotive, Capital Goods, Aerospace & Defence, Business Services, Airlines, and Transportation.

As a Vice President in the Diversified Industries Corporates Team within Wholesale Credit Risk EMEA team, you will play a key role in supporting clients for the Commercial & Investment Bank.

You will cover Leveraged and Investment Grade clients across multiple sectors.

You help us deliver robust credit solutions while fostering team knowledge and development.

Together, we drive sound risk management and commercial outcomes.

  • Job responsibilities
  • Negotiate and develop recommendations for new transaction approvals across a variety of products, including secured and unsecured loans, derivatives, trade, and treasury products
  • Lead due diligence and credit analysis to assess counterparty creditworthiness and recommend appropriate structure, risk appetite, and grading
  • Lead structuring and documentation negotiations for Investment Grade and Leveraged facilities, derivatives, and other products
  • Commit to personal development and foster team knowledge by coaching and training Analysts and Associates on technical and professional skills
  • Manage ongoing credit risk portfolio, including monitoring credit ratings, sector trends, and client performance
  • Balance a commercial and solution-driven mindset with a strong risks and controls approach to the Firm’s balance sheet
  • Develop and maintain close working relationships at senior levels with stakeholders across the Commercial & Investment Bank, including Coverage/Corporate Bank, product specialists, Markets, Capital Markets, and M&A
  • Understand and apply the Firm’s risk management policies and interact with stakeholders, including Regulators and Auditors
  • Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Sound credit skills and judgment, with a proactive and flexible approach to coordinating and leading credit processes as well as identifying key risks and appropriate mitigants.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills. Be able to establish credibility and trust with internal business and risk stakeholders.
  • Demonstrate working knowledge of transaction structures, documentation and banking products sufficient to lead the execution of new deals and portfolio workstreams.
  • Ability to be a self-starter while being able to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Significant experience in a comparable environment.
  • Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Experience in Sponsor deal financings or expertise in relevant Industrial sectors is beneficial but not essential.
  • Experience leading loan documentation negotiations and core corporate derivative documentation (Investment Grade, non-Investment Grade, Sponsor type).
  • Experience in Sponsor deal financings or expertise in relevant industrial sectors.
