Fantastic opportunity for a Marine Assistant Underwriter who is looking for that next step up!
Responsibilities
- Supporting team in day to day underwriting of Marine Hull and Liability book
- Assist in all other general underwriting administration and processing functions to ensure efficient workflow within the team
- Bound premium monitoring
- Preparing information for underwriting purposes, specifically regarding account pricing and account performance analysis
- Coordinating RMS modelling with exposure analysis team
- Preparing Analysis Sheets with core account information
- Performing Marine market research and client information
- Managing aged debt and credit control liaison
- Compliance with and evidencing of conduct risk requirements, including PBQA
- Reporting and tracking of outstanding audit / compliance requirements and liaising with internal audit
- Manage facultative reinsurance process
- Managing the delegated underwriting process and Bindercloud submissions
- Liaising with insurance and reinsurance brokers
Qualifications
You will have at least 5 years’ experience working as an Assistant Underwriter and will be ready to make the move as Underwriter in the next year! My client will also consider candidates who have recently moved into an Underwriter position but looking for a change of environment.
