Joining this leading Insurer as a Senior Business Analyst you will have significant experience working as a Senior Business Analyst within the London / Lloyd's Insurance Market and experience working within a Change Delivery team. You will work closely with stakeholders across the organisation to lead and drive process improvements, system enhancements, and organisational change initiatives within a fast paced environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Stakeholder Management
  • Work with business, change delivery and technical teams to shape ideas for changes to process and technology into projects
  • Work collaboratively with business users to gather, gain consensus and document detailed functional and non-functional requirements and produce high quality BRDs, process maps and user stories
  • Lead the analysis of the impact of proposed changes on people, processes, and technology.
  • Work closely with the Change Delivery Director to develop and implement change management strategies and support transition activities for both business and operational teams
  • Support project managers in the delivery of business change
  • For smaller deliveries, ability to plan and manage delivery projects
  • Support testing, UAT and defect management processes

Key skills / experience required

  • Experience of working in the Lloyd's / London Insurance Market - i.e. Broking and/or Underwriting is ESSENTIAL
  • Proven track record of leading business analysis for complex change projects from initiation to delivery
  • Solid understanding of broking / underwriting operations, insurance products, and industry regulations
  • Strong understanding of project management principles - PRINCE2, Agile etc
  • Experience in driving and supporting change initiatives
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify root causes of issues, interpret complex data, design effective solutions and articulate findings accurately
  • A good knowledge and understanding of reporting and analytical tools, data analysis, principles and quantitative methodologies
