We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager with a proven track record, strong background in consulting and insurance transformation, and substantial experience in agile application to lead strategic initiatives.

  • Project Management: Lead and manage cross-functional project teams to deliver transformative solutions, ensuring delivery on time, within scope and on budget in either Waterfall, Agile or hybrid way of working.
  • Strategic Alignment: Develop and execute strategic project plans, ensuring alignment with business goals and objectives.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with teams and stakeholders, including senior management, to drive project success and achieve key milestones.
  • Planning and Scheduling: Develop and manage detailed project plans and day-to-day coordination, including defining project scope, deliverables, milestones, timelines, and resources, to ensure timely delivery and optimal performance.
  • Risk and Conflict Management: Proactively identify and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies, and implement mitigation strategies to safeguard project outcomes.
  • Communication and Reporting: Serve as the main point of contact for project updates, ensuring clear, concise, and timely communication between teams, management, and stakeholders. Provide regular and as needed status reports and presentations.
  • Culture and Continuous Improvement: Facilitate change management initiatives, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.

You MUST have Experience:

  • 5+ years of project management experience in the London insurance industry.
  • Substantial experience in agile application and drive agile ceremonies.
  • Prior experience of implementing an insurance pricing platform, UW Workbench, or regulatory & compliance projects would be desirable.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Excellent communicator who is proactive and has strong international skills and good at presentations. Ability to convey complex project information clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions under pressure.
  • Drive and Team Management: Drive strategic initiatives and foster a collaborative and innovative culture.
  • Adaptability: Ability to navigate and manage multiple, concurrent projects in a fast-paced, global environment.
  • Technical Skills: Familiar with project management tools and software, ideally experience in Project Portfolio Management (PPM) systems. Strong MS Excel and PowerPoint skills.
  • 5 years of experience in a consulting firm with a focus on insurance transformation projects preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • PMP, Prince2, Scrum Master or other relevant project management certification preferred.
